I'm getting a "Network Blocked" error (CrashPlan for Small Business FAQ)

The CrashPlan app displays a Network blocked – Backup will resume automatically on approved networks message when configured to block specific network connections. Follow the steps below to prevent the CrashPlan app from blocking certain wireless networks and network interfaces for backup:

  1. Open the CrashPlan app.
  2.  Select Settings.
  3. Select Network.
  4. Next to Wireless network exclusions, select Change.
  5. Select a wireless network from the list that you want to allow for backup.Wireless_network_exclusions_6.5.2.png
  6. Select the minus (-) to allow the wireless network.
  7. Repeat for each wireless network you want to allow.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Next to Network Interface Exclusions, click Change.
  10. Select a network interface from the list that you want to allow for backup.Network_interface_exclusions_6.5.2.png
  11. Select the minus (-) to allow the network interface.
  12. Repeat for each network interface you want to allow.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Close the Device Preferences dialog.
  15. Verify the Network Blocked message no longer displays on the backup dialog.
