Overview
This article provides instructions on how to change your CrashPlan product plan using the CrashPlan console. For more information on the features of each plan, see our article CrashPlan product plans.
Considerations
- CrashPlan for Small Business customers are not eligible to change their plans online. For assistance moving to a new plan, contact our technical support team.
- If you purchased CrashPlan Enterprise or MSP via a direct purchase agreement, contact your CSM for assistance.
Downgrades are not available in the CrashPlan console
If you want to downgrade your plan (for example, from CrashPlan Professional to CrashPlan Essential), contact our technical support team.
Steps
1. Sign in to the CrashPlan console and click License Plan > Change Plan
2. Select the plan you want to change to from the selection on the left.
3. (CrashPlan Professional only) Select whether you want to pay every year or every two years.
4. Select the number of additional users you wish to add, if any. Your estimated charge will update automatically.
5. Review your estimated charge and click Checkout.
Your payment method on file will be used to process the charge on your next renewal date. To change your payment method:
- Sign in to the CrashPlan console and click License Plan > Update Payment Method
- Fill out your new payment details and click Update Payment Method to complete.
