Overview
This article explains how to access the console from the CrashPlan app as well as from the web.
From the CrashPlan app
- Open the CrashPlan app installed on your device.
- Enter your CrashPlan username. CrashPlan usernames must be valid email addresses.
If your company uses single sign-on (SSO) or LDAP, your CrashPlan username matches your SSO or LDAP username. Typically, this is the same username that you use to sign in to your computer. - Click Continue. You will be redirected to the CrashPlan console on the web to complete the sign in process.
From the web
You can access the CrashPlan console directly from any supported web browser. You'll also be brought to the web to sign in if you initiated sign-in from the CrashPlan app.
- (If signing in directly from a browser) Visit the URL for your CrashPlan product. If you don't know which URL below applies to you, consult the table below.
- Enter your CrashPlan username and password.
- If required, enter your two-factor authentication code.
- Click Sign in.
The CrashPlan console appears.
Sign in session is shared between the CrashPlan app and the CrashPlan console
If you sign into the CrashPlan console with a given user, that user will also be signed in to the CrashPlan app on that device. To change which user is signed in, either sign out from the account menu in the CrashPlan console or use a command to sign out from the CrashPlan app.
FAQ and troubleshooting

Try resetting your password and two-factor authentication (if required).

In most cases, you'll just need to click Sign in with a different account in the app and try the sign in process again. If the issue persists, ensure that your username and device are active (and not deactivated or blocked). If you still can't sign in, contact support for assistance.

This message may appear if the username you are using to sign in is present on more than one of our servers. To proceed, you'll need to specify which server you want to sign in to. Consult the server address table below:
